Geospatial Sciences
The Geospatial Sciences Laboratory contains state-of-the-art software and equipment which assist in the creation of a range of cartographic products and geospatial analyses such as:
- Thematic map production
- Data base development
- Topographic surveys and mapping: stream channels, cross-sections, floodplains, terraces, etc.
- Historical image interpretation and classification (aerial photography and satellite imagery, digitization, etc.)
- GPS surveys
